2. Description of Service
CryptoSkill is an open source, curated registry of crypto AI agent skills and MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers. We organize and catalog skills from official project teams and community contributors to help developers discover and install crypto capabilities for their AI agents.
CryptoSkill is a directory and catalog. We are not a trading platform, exchange, wallet provider, or financial service. We do not execute trades, hold funds, or provide financial services of any kind.
3. User Responsibilities
As a user of CryptoSkill, you agree to:
Install and use skills at your own risk. You are solely responsible for evaluating the suitability and security of any skill or MCP server before installing or running it.
Review the source code of any skill before use, especially skills that interact with financial protocols, exchanges, or wallets.
Not submit skills or MCP servers containing malicious code, backdoors, credential-harvesting mechanisms, or any other harmful components.
Not use the service for any purpose that violates applicable laws or regulations.
Comply with the license terms of individual skills you install and use.
4. Skill Accuracy and Disclaimers
Skills and MCP servers listed on CryptoSkill are provided "as-is" by their respective authors. Please be aware of the following:
CryptoSkill is a directory service. We are not the author of most skills listed in the registry. Skills are developed and maintained by their respective project teams and community contributors.
We do not guarantee the functionality, security, accuracy, reliability, or availability of any skill or MCP server listed in the registry.
Skill descriptions, documentation, and metadata are provided for informational purposes and may not always reflect the current state of the underlying software.
Some skills interact with financial protocols, exchanges, and blockchain networks. Listing a skill on CryptoSkill does not constitute financial advice, an endorsement, or a recommendation to use that skill for financial transactions.

Skills listed in the CryptoSkill registry retain their original licenses as specified by their respective authors. Most community skills are licensed under MIT-0 or similar permissive licenses. Always check the specific license of each skill before use.
The CryptoSkill website, curation system, tools, and original content are licensed under AGPL-3.0. The source code is available on GitHub.
7. Security
We take security seriously and make reasonable efforts to review skills submitted to the registry for malicious code, credential theft, and other security concerns. However:
We cannot guarantee 100% safety or the absence of vulnerabilities in any skill or MCP server listed on the site.
Users should always review the source code of skills before running them, particularly those that handle private keys, API credentials, or financial transactions.
If you discover a security vulnerability in any skill listed on CryptoSkill, please report it to us immediately at maintainers@altresear.ch.
8. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use CryptoSkill or its registry to:
Submit or distribute skills containing malicious code, viruses, trojans, or other harmful software.
Submit skills designed to steal credentials, private keys, seed phrases, or other sensitive information.
Submit skills that perform unauthorized data collection or surveillance.
Engage in any activity that disrupts, damages, or interferes with the service.
Misrepresent the authorship, origin, or functionality of a skill.
Use the service for any illegal or fraudulent purpose.
9. Third-Party Content
Skills and MCP servers listed on CryptoSkill may link to, depend on, or interact with third-party APIs, services, protocols, and platforms that are not owned or controlled by CryptoSkill. This includes but is not limited to cryptocurrency exchanges, DeFi protocols, blockchain RPCs, data providers, and other external services.
We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, practices, availability, or security of any third-party services. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and conditions.
10. Limitation of Liability
CryptoSkill is a free, open source service. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
CryptoSkill, its maintainers, contributors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from or related to your use of the service.
This includes, without limitation, damages for loss of profits, data, funds, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
Our maximum aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to these terms or the service is $0 (zero dollars).
The service is provided "as-is" and "as-available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
